FAQ

Q: How long does a session take?

A: We need about 15-20 minutes to set up, but only 5-10 minutes of your time once we are set up to take your portrait so you can get back to your work or day plans.

Q: How long do you keep images on file?

A: Your final images will be delivered to you via a Dropbox link. Please immediately download those images to your computer as well as back them up in another location. The Dropbox links are only active for 30 days. Though it’s not part of the service we will typically keep your final images in our archives for a few years. Again, please download and archive your images right away.

Q: How may I use my images?

A: As part of the service you are receiving the final images with no limitations for use. You have full rights and usage.

Q: How do I receive my digital files?

A: We deliver digital files via Dropbox links through email. If you need a file on a disc, we can do that as well.

Q: Do you do retouching?

A: Yes we do! We will do standard retouching on your selected image(s) and when we give you the final file(s) you can let us know if you would like more/less retouching on your portrait. Our general retouching includes softening of the skin and under the eyes, removal of blemishes, brightening of eyes, whitening of teeth, and removal of stray hairs.

Q: What backgrounds do you have?

A: You can find our background gallery here.

Q: When do I receive the finished product?

A: Once you have selected which image you want from your proofs you should have your final file by the next business day.

Q: Do you provide photography at my office/location?

A: Yes! We do everything on location so we bring the studio to you.

Q: How do we choose the best photo?

A: What image are you trying to project in your photo? Do you want to be friendly and inviting or more serious? Still need help? Send us your three favorites and we will be more than happy to give you our thoughts.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Think about what image you are trying to project. Business professional? Casual and friendly? For head and shoulder portraits be aware that for the most part your image will be cropped from the shoulders up. An outfit that may look great from head to toe could also appear too casual when cropped as just a head and shoulders. When in doubt bring a few of your favorites choices. It’s always better to have choices.
